MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

2 current Members must sponsor your membership (Sponsors cannot be from the same household)

You must attend at least 2 meetings in person to read your application.

You are in good standing with the AKC
-
PROMOTE the goals of SSKC, as stated in our by-laws
-
SUPPORT shows, matches, and assistance where needed for the SSKC.

Application for membership may be picked up at our meeting place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month or by emailing Kayla McGinnis at sskcmembership@gmail.com
​
Annual membership dues are $20.00 per person or $30.00 per family.
NEW MEMBERS
Three meetings in person (virtual meetings are not counted towards new memberships) are required.
At meeting #1, you complete the application, introduce yourself, and make dues payment.
Meeting #2 your application gets read.
Meeting #3 you get voted on (must have the required 2 current Member sponsor questionnaires completed)
If you are voted in, then you can attend virtually.

DATE: Third Wednesday of EACH month, ongoing
TIME: 7:00 pm
PLACE: 1600 E. Desert Inn Rd.
Las Vegas, Nevada 89109

Located on the north side of street, between Maryland Parkway and Eastern Avenue.
​
The meetings are geared to provide education as well as entertaining programs on all aspects of the world of purebred dogs.
​
As an extension of our education program we also offer handling classes.
​
Each year an Annual Awards Presentation is held to honor the dogs that have earned titles and degrees during the year as well as the breeders and Junior Handlers of the year.
​
You must have two member sponsors.
***No dogs are allowed at the meetings.***
